India Vs South Africa third ODI today

THETHIRDone day international cricket match between India and host South Africa will be played at Newlands in Cape Town from 6:00 pm (IST) on Tuesday. Both India and South Africa have won one match each in the ongoing series. In a nail biting thriller on Saturday, January 15 at New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, India won by just one run.

However, Sachin Tendulkar, who will be playing his record sixth world cup next month has joined the list of injured players which includes Virender Sahwag, Gautam Gambhir and Praveen Kumar. Tendulkar has returned home because of a hamstring injury.

In both the earlier matches, Indians were not able to handle the pace of South Africans and did not manage to cross the 200 runs mark. Indian opener Murali Vijay has failed in both the matches.However, the good news is that southpawYuvraj Singh has regained form as he scored a fifty in the last match.Munaf Patel, who wasselected for the Indian World Cup squad, played a vital role in the victory of India in Johannesburg. He claimed four wicketsat the cost of 29 runs and was announced the man-of-the-match.

In the third ODI between India and South Africa, Captain Dhoni can pick Yusuf Pathan. It is expected that in-form batsman Virat Kohli may open the inning along with Murali Vijay. In this match,Piyush Chawla might be included in the playing XI. He has not played a one-day game since 2008.

In the last five matches, India has won four matches while itlost one, whereas South Africa has won three and lost two matches. India and South Africa probables for the third ODI at Newlands, Cape Town are:
