We've lost that winning feeling: Frank Lampard concedes that champions Chelsea are in crisis

Add to My Stories Frank Lampard has admitted that Chelsea are going through a confidence crisis similar to the one that led to former manager Phil Scolari losing his job.

In a rut: Lampard has highlighted Chelsea's malaiseThe reigning Barclays Premier League champions are currently on a run of just one win in their last nine league matches, and with boss Carlo Ancelotti under increasing pressure, the England international fears it will take time to regain the belief that won them the title last year.
Lampard said: At the moment theres a bit of a feeling that were not sure whats going to happen when we go out there. If were honest we all think that. Thats just the way it is. You cant help that.
The end of Phil Scolaris reign was a bit like this. You lose the feeling of being able to win every week. Once youve had that and lose it, its hard to get it back.
Lampard also admitted their have been tensions between the big personalities within the squad.
John Terry and Didier Drogba have argued on the pitch recently and the 32-year-old midfielder said: If you arent winning games there would be something wrong if the big players didnt start asking questions of each other and themselves.
Drogba is known as an emotional character and John as well. Ideally it should be done in the dressing-room, but when you want to win it can come out on the pitch.
